NCLEX-RN Made Ridiculously Simple: Ed. 4
Not your typical NCLX-RN review book! Imagine this… You’re several weeks away from the big exam, you’ve crammed your brain with information overload and read every vignette under the sun. If you read another novel-like vignette you’ll miss out on reviewing the most essential “high-yield” knowledge wrapped into clinical case presentations. What to study next? Panic sets in! Don’t worry, NCLX-RN Made Ridiculously Simple has you covered.
Written in chart format, NCLX-RN MRS categorically arranges the most “high-yield” Assessment, Analysis, Planning, Implementation, Evaluation, and safe practices knowledge to make it very easy to review all NCLX-RN subjects just a week or two before the exam! The arrangement of these charts is logically set up to be built upon in brief clinical context rather than just a random collection of facts or long-winded vignettes in order to provide the maximum amount of information with the minimum amount of words by concentrating on key associations to help you improve your performance in multiple-choice situations. Studying in such a systematic fashion lets you avoid the “high-yield trap” of what to study the week or two before the test.
You’ve done all the hard studying for the exam; now let NCLX-RN Made Ridiculously Simple give you the confidence to tie it all together as your “last-minute memory aid” for the big day!
Companion Digital Download of NCLEX-RN Quiz Question Bank; 1000+ questions in “mix and match style” rather than clinical vignettes that you’ve been pounding for months. In this short amount of time left before the exam, vignettes are very inefficient for review since you need to read a very lengthy question description just to test one single knowledge fact! Our downloadable “Mix and match” style allows you to test several items at once in a much shorter time
Alberta – Great resource! –
This book is a great resource for new nursing students trying to condense information into a few pages without missing anything. It’s an easy, simple read that I have thoroughly enjoyed.
bobcat – finally a logical presentation… –
I love this book. with other books, i’d always find myself making tables and lists of what seemed to be the “essentials” and side-by-side comparisons of conditions (since i could only cram so much in my head). maybe it’s my learning style, but i think this book lays it out logically. there is definitely room for improvement (i wish there were more illustrations), but this is the only book on the right path.
Dane – a very good book –
This book really is an easy introduction to the NCLEX test. It is fast to read and the interactive CD that comes with the book is very good at testing whether you have understood the book or not. The book quickly makes you aware in which areas you need to study more intensely before taking the NCLEX test. The book is a great introduction to the NCLEX test but you need to be aware not to rely entirely on this book to help you pass the test. You need to supplement this book with other NCLEX test preparation books.
M. L. Pegg – Great Help! –
This was a really big help in preparing for the NCLEX! It was very straight forward and very easy to get a lot of information in a short amount of time. I would recommend this to anyone!
Elizabeth J. Clark – clear and simple –
Really helped me through nursing school! Helped me to remember the important stuff and not all of the insignificant details.
Jon G. – love it. –
It’s quick, clear, and well it makes things ridiculously simple. If you’re looking for something with practice tests or in-depth, wordy explanations, move on. This is more of a rapid review type of product.
R. G. Yulo – a must have book for nclex-rn review!!! –
a basic must know for nclex-rn review..a must have book..
Jen – Not an absolute must but helpful –
If you have the extra money it is not a bad book to have, especially for studying for exams while in school. I bought it because I wanted to have a review book that I could read on the train, or when I don’t feel like reading a bunch of paragraphs.
